Do you want to know how to make money with a drill brush power scrubber? We’ll show you how in today’s #AskaHouseCleaner Drill bit brush set #ProductReview

Angela Brown uses a drill brush for leather sofas after applying Meguiar’s leather conditioner. And she uses Murphy oil soap and a drill brush for kitchen cabinets. It’s an upsell but she uses a drill brush for grout cleanup in icky showers. And she even made a drill brush splatter guard for the grout clean up so spinning bleach won’t ruin your clothes.

If you have a house cleaning cancellation and you own an electric drill, you can upsell your clients with drill brush cleaning.

Today’s sponsors are Savvy Cleaner (Training and Certification for house cleaners and maids.) And Savvy Perks – A discount perks program for house cleaners and their employees.

  1. Sounds good in theory, but something doesn't add up. Glass is much harder than leather and wood cabinets, so why is the soft leather bristle brush recommended for glass, but a medium for wood cabinets? I would be hesitant to use the soft bristle on wood, much less medium bristle! Remember, the faster the rotation when rubbing an object, the greater the friction. I would be very concerned scratching wood or the poly layer of coating of wood cabinets.

  2. I'm just getting into this, i already had a 12v drill from a personal project, and that little thing does well. i have 2 batteries for it and so far in the time it takes me to drain one battery the other is already charged, so if i were get to a house for cleaning and noticed the batteries were dead i could charge one while doing other cleaning.

a quality 12v drill runs about $100, and is light and small. I love working with it. Another plus of the corded vs battery is you need to bring the batteries in from the car when its cold. cold isn't good for batteries and at the very least causes them to drain faster while sitting.

The reason i bought a 12v drill in the first place is it makes a nice drill driver for things around the house, and being small can fit in tighter areas than more normal sized drills.

  3. Is there any worry about using a electric drill around possible liquid and water ? Also, if the plug and extention cord are laying on the floor of the shower or tub, any possibility of getting zapped ? Guess I'm really apprehensive of getting electrocuted !!

  4. Hi Angela, between this and Homitt Electric Spin Scrubber, which one would you recommend for personal use? My impression is that Drill Brush got more power than Homitt, so better for deep cleaning. I believe Homitt might be easier to use as it has angled head, extension and probably lighter than a drill. But I worry that Homitt doesn't have as much power as Drill Brush. Any thoughts, please?

  5. Hello there. Just a tip from a detailing background in that if you go to detail juice.com they have a cord clip that you clip on your shirt and it keeps the court of your shoulder and out of the way. Take a look at it and you may find it useful.

  6. Thanks Angela. You mentioned the drill brush in a previous video and I was intrigued. I have a cordless brush that I’ve used. It works just ok, not a lot of power. I don’t use it very often. I would like to buy the drill brush also. Thank you . Great information.

  7. Love the video and product, I been cleaning for almost 20 years and never thought that a drill can be one of my tools.
recently was asked to clean a kitchen with 65 pieces big small and medium sizes, to be honest I don't know how to charge, should I charge per hour?? Which I don't know how much is going to take one for a job?? Thank you for the help??. Ps I was to watch the video when you clean all this cabinets with the morphe tall and that your help that's why I'm asking

  8. Thanks to you, Angela, I was able to get some scuff marks off of a brand new floor because I had seen the previous video and I realized I had a similar brush at my disposal. Boom! What a Godsend! Got the scuffs up like they never existed. Thanks for all the info you give, it’s a wonderful education.
